PMI Educational Foundation’s (PMIEF) Scholarships and Awards Program supports development of the best and brightest future project management professionals and other professionals worldwide through learning opportunities.

The PMI Alaska Chapter participates in this Academic Scholarship program managed by PMIEF.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited undergraduate, graduate or doctoral academic degree program in project management or a related field benefitting from project management with the following order of priority:

1st Priority: A member of the PMI Alaska Chapter who is a resident of Alaska attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program anywhere.

2nd Priority: Any individual residing in Alaska who is attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university program anywhere.

PMIEF started receiving applications for this year’s scholarship on October 1st, 2012. Applications must be submitted by June 1st, 2013. To apply online go to: http://www.pmi.org/pmief/scholarship/app_main_page.asp and fill out the application. You will need two essays, resume/CV, official transcripts (if currently enrolled), and three reference forms.
