A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Sixth Edition is the latest version of this leading global resource for project managers.
The PMBOK® Guide is developed by active practitioners and subject matter experts, then reviewed by the project management community before it is released, to assure it always reflects the current state of the profession.
In response to market research and customer input, information on agile will now be included.
What to expect
The PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition (in English) will be available in print and digital formats on 6 September.
Translations in 11 additional languages will be available in print in October.
PMI members can download digital copies of English and all translated versions on 6 September.

What does this mean for the Exam?
The Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® exams will be updated in Q1 and Q2 2018 to correspond to the release of the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition and the Agile Practice Guide
