PMIAK MISSION:
PMIAK provides a forum for Professional Project Managers to promote the principles of the Project Management Institute. Collaboratively, we share project experiences, provide and receive training, create volunteering opportunities, and support Project Managers in their certification and continuing professional development efforts.
PMIAK focus includes:
•Promoting professional development and enhancing Project Management Professionalism through quality programs based on the needs of our members and the needs of the local Project Management community at large.
•Creating and delivering an educational program that strengthens local Project Manager Skills and supports the Project Management Institute's globally recognized standards and certification program.
•Promoting Professional Project Management principles and techniques with local businesses, universities, and professional associations.
•Helping project professionals advance their careers, and gain valuable knowledge, networks, and resources.
