Our Annual Event brings together members of Alaska’s project management community for an opportunity to expand your professional network, celebrate our community and its accomplishments, and gain new insights from fellow leaders and practitioners.

Keynote Presentation: Can You Hear Me Now? The Surprising Role of Feedback on Impossibly Effective Teams

We are excited to welcome Geoff Welch as our keynote speaker! Most leaders know they should give more feedback. The challenge is that feedback is often treated as something that happens only when something goes wrong.

In Can You Hear Me Now?, Geoff will challenge us to think differently. On “Impossibly Effective Teams,” feedback isn't an occasional correction—it is an ongoing conversation that helps people understand what's working, what needs to change, and how they can contribute at a higher level.

Participants will explore how candid, connected teams use frequent feedback to create greater clarity, strengthen ownership, and make faster adjustments before small problems become big ones.

Participants will learn:

• Why effective feedback is about more than correcting poor performance
• How candid feedback creates the clarity and connection people need to improve
• Practical ways to make feedback more frequent, useful, and easier to hear

Geoff Welch is a trusted leadership coach and podcast host who has spent the last decade helping scores of leaders turn good ideas into consistent performance. His humorous, thoughtful, and highly engaging approach makes his leadership insights accessible, practical, and directly applicable.
