The project management field out there is pretty crowded. Its no longer enough to be just really good at what you do; You have to be more. It’s no longer built on time, on scope and budget. You have to add value over and above the normal requirements of project managers.

So how do we add value? How do we stand out in the crowd? How do we get recognized in this very crowded field? David Barrett, our speaker, will have us thinking about what we can do to innovate our careers and add value at the next level.

David Barrett has been active in PMI since 1995. He began his professional speaking career 12 years ago and has written books and hosts podcast. He launched the project management tool ProjectBites in 2021 which offers monthly events, speakers, webinars, videos, and podcasts. Currently approximately 40 PMI chapters are signed up for ProjectBites including our Alaska chapter!
