Kris is organized and has a keen eye for details, which allows me to efficiently manage many projects and employees.

TOPIC:

Working through a high profile difficult project by actively involving the Owner, Local Businesses, and commuting public to achieve a successful outcome.

OVERVIEW:

Spenard Road Reconstruction PH 2 – Hillcrest to Benson

The Municipality of Anchorage spent 15 years trying to get this project approved due to a big push back from the local businesses. This required making certain promises on traffic disruption and schedule deadlines that made construction very difficult. This was also the first major project that the Municipality used an alternate delivery method to select a contractor. This presentation will take the audience through conception to completion and the techniques to used to unite all vested parties. This project not only won an Excellence in Construction award, but also broke a World Record!
