Topic: Cyber Security for Business Continuity
Synopsis:
Cyber Security has become a buzz word, but what does it really look like in practice? During this interactive discussion, we will change your perspective on securing organizational assets against all hazards, and collaborate to share lessons learned.
Speakers: Peter House and Chad Fullmer
Peter House - Founder & CEO of Deeptree, Inc.
Peter started working in IT on the helpdesk to pay his way through college. Apparently, he liked it enough to stick with it after he graduated with his degree in mathematics. Peter’s passion for risk extends across fields such as information and network security and into esoteric fields such as catastrophe theory. With nearly 20 years of experience in IT ranging from software development, system administration, and leading cyber security response teams, Peter currently works with his staff and clients to prevent, contain, and respond to cyber security threats.
Chad Fullmer, MS – Critical Infrastructure Protect/Safety Manager and Owner of AllyNorth – a Project Management consulting firm.
Chad started his career nearly 20 years ago as an Intranet Assurance Security Officer in the U.S. Army. After honorably completing his military service, he earned a Master's Degree in Homeland Security & Emergency Management and a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems Security. He worked in private-sector risk management/asset protection and served many years as the Critical Infrastructure Protection Team Supervisor for the Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Chad is currently studying to take his PMP exam in December 2017.
